World Bank raises Russia’s 2017–2018 GDP growth forecast to 1.7%
MOSCOW, Oct 19 (PRIME) – The World Bank has raised its forecast for Russia’s gross domestic product (GDP) growth in 2017 and 2018 to 1.7% from 1.3% and 1.4%, respectively, the bank said in a report on Thursday.
The bank expects the Russian economy to grow 1.8% in 2019.
The bank also projects Russia’s inflation at 4% in 2017–2019.
Debt is expected at 15.2% of GDP in 2017, 15% in 2018, and 15.1% in 2019.
